What Cartier pieces do you wear to sleep?

This comment really surprised me. I bruise very easily and have extremely sensitive skin and have never bruised in my regular or baby love which I wear together and sleep in every night. I did find the screws on the regular rough and painful on the underside and Cartier sent it in to be softened for me, and since then I’ve had no problem. I wonder if that would help your Mum?

I bought a love bracelet for my mom and she hasn't taken it off in several months now, so she sleeps in it. It has left bruising on her arm from sleep, in the shape of the circular screw (new screw system) and that's not something I had heard/read about before purchase. We sized up so she'd have a lot of room, so it's not even a tight fit. Disappointing and something to consider if you will sleep in one.

And @ccbaggirl89 . Sorry this happened to your mother. Hope that she gets better soon!

It can depend on the age and/or medical history of the individual person.
An older or more elderly individual not only has very thin skin, but also less collagen and muscle.
The collagen that provides the structure and elasticity of the skin and the muscle that provides the support when there is pressure are important for the skin to handle physical stress and prevent injuries like scraping and bruising.
Also, some people may be on baby aspirin to prevent blood clotting. The likely side effect would be thinning of the blood and when bruising happens, they tend to be worse. (Though I'm not sure if your mother is on blood thinners. This is just an example).

These are very common concerns/issues when I work with older patients, especially when they need to get blood drawn or stay in bed for long periods of time (which they should not).

Not sure if this information exactly applies, but hope it's helpful!

I wear 24/7 a Love WG 10 diamond regular and a YG baby love on my right hand with a large Tiffany T1 YG ring. In my ears I sleep in WG and YG small Love hoop earring in each ear with a Tiffany Fleur de lys bar in one ear. I find the earrings annoying at times but most nights they are fine. For me they are fiddly to take out and put in, and if I don’t leave them in I wouldn’t bother most days, especially as I work from home. I did get the bracelet screws softened, but that was because they hurt even during the day (my skin is a princess).

I do take off my tension set Kretchmer engagement ring and Canturi Regina wedding bands every night as I get a rash under the stack if I don’t. I love how convex the Tiffany T1 ring is, as no water collects underneath it, so this never happens with it.

I’m currently looking for a necklace I can wear with all the above and trying to choose between the interlocked pave set love rings and the larger Love pave set. I tried them on today and was surprised at just how heavy the love pave pendant was and wonder if it is too big for every day and if it would be so heavy it irritates my neck. I also like how the interlocking pave set rings can be worn either side up and the pave love side becomes a plain love with screw. I would love to know if anyone sleeps in either of those.

It's definitely age-related in her case, and we determined it was the bracelet itself and not the screws - the bracelet lodged in a certain position during the night and then will not budge from that spot. I wish I'd kept some images to share, it's quite startling to see what occurs and not many people talk about the downsides of the bracelet (for some wearers). I had to sell the bracelet as she was not enjoying wearing it and believe a bangle might have been better for her age. Definitely something to consider if you're gifting to someone much older; I do believe the issue would primarily affect elderly and those with certain medical issues where they bruise at the slightest touch. Thank you for the insight and understanding, you're correct in all you said!

I'm not really a necklace (nor earring) person but i do wear one (non Cartier and it's a wedding gift from MIL) now and never take it off. Now I feel more naked without a necklace than say without ring/bracelet!
