What Bags do You Wear for Summer Dresses?

I was just gonna post it from the stock pic and ask you if you think my Gucci SA would kill me if I bought it (actually she's probably buy one too, she's such a sweetheart and so eclectic and clever with her own wardrobe)

BTW, their dresses are very nice too but I don't know if I could wear nylon in the Summer, even on cooler days.

The way I look at it...strictly a summer bag. Made well, looks good not cheap and the price is right for a seasonal bag. I live on Cape Cod so straw bags are very popular! Hell...we invented the Nantucket Basket!
A lot of the clothes are very form fitting/stretchy so I order one size up from my regular size.
Only problem I can see is that BF will not believe it's not another Gucci BTH and threaten to leave me

I only wore it a few times last summer but it's a good summer bag and looks more expensive then it is.

I think J McLaughlin makes really nice quality items. I always like what I buy there, and I love their sales. That bag looks a lot more expensive than it was.
We have one store, where I live, and it's near me...luckily I have a GF that manages the store. She let's me know all the sale items before the public.

You are really lucky because their sales are the best. I bought a dress for a graduation and I had a cardigan that was perfect for it so I couldn't justify buying one that they had that really went well with it. Long story short they still had the cardi at sale time and I got it and a scarf that really completes the look. I love their fabrics and they way their prints go together. When you look at the three pieces you wouldn't think they would work but when the outfit is on they look great. At full price those pieces really add up though!
For work (I can wear day dresses), I carry a cement Proenza Schouler medium PS1. For play, I usually carry a burnt orange Mark Cross mini Madison satchel.
