I splurged on the large Anniversary Saddle bag. Got it for 30% off! Also bought the suede Edie with the discount. Right now, Saddle is at the store because I'm getting it monogrammed.
You lucky gal!! Wondering if I should ask my store to see if they'll let me use the discount on a saddle bag too, but I don't want my wishlist to get even longer! So hard to keep myself in check

If you don't mind me asking, were you able to order your saddle bags just now or were they purchases from whey were first released? I only ask because I've been wanting one since they came out (was a little late pulling the trigger first time around) & my SA tells me none available till Feb at the earliest. Anywho, just curious...thanks & CONGRATS on your beautiful bags!

Did you have your SA look the bag up? I tried calling JAX twice, but each time was told that the Saddle bag 35 is not available. Hope they didn't sell out already!
Came back with the exotic Nomad!! Really got to blame jane for this lol; her pics are just droolworthy! I wasn't sure about all-stone one, but the snakeskin embossed handle really make just the right amount of pop; after peeking and seeing the gorgeous black lining, it followed me home .
What is there to say, other than trying to fight off the temptation for a saddle bag and Swagger 37! Hoping not to pounce until February's official release, but that colorblock saddle bag featured in the spring 2016 runway show may be the bane of my wallet...

I bought an oil slick mini Dakotah about a week and two hours ago, and it won't get here until Monday. 
Nothing else this season has really grabbed my attention, and my main cross country traveling bag this holiday season will be a different American brand. But if the oil slick mini D is as awesome as I hope it is, it will accompany me as my little crossbody back up.

I worked with my SA. I thought about buying the large when I saw it released a month or so ago on the site, but I decided to wait until February. My SA knew I liked the bag and knew I wanted the Saddle/Carmine, and let me know a couple weeks ago that the large was NOT excluded from the 30% promotion. So I went for it. The suede Edie and Saddle definitely cost a bit, at least for me. Still, at 30% off, I decided it was a good deal. If you have an SA, go for it.

Thank you so much!! I just switched over to another SA not too long ago; tried calling JAX multiple times and got shot down, so went to her. She was puzzled that the system is saying not available, but tried ordering anyway; it worked! And she applied the 30% off for me as well
. The Swagger will probably have to wait until SAS then, if it shows up...haha . Of the list of colors (cornflower, dahlia, smoke, fog, saddle, flax, eggplant), I decided that the saddle sounds best, so now we're twins! Can't wait to get it

So I came back with a Nomad and saddle 35, but no Swagger! Shock
haha. Of the two choices you listed, maybe the colorblock will hold its shape better? I found this pic online of someone trying to sell their Swagger, and felt if it eventually slouches like that, it would bother me. But the chalk one is nice to look at! That's probably why I ended up with no pebbled boroughs, even though I have my own collection of those...yikes.
