To honor National Handbag Day I am carrying my awesome Bottega Veneta Fenice tote. This bag is from a limited edition of only 25 that was designed by Tomas Maier for a special BV event at Bergdorf Goodman in April 2009. Tucked inside is my matching Ossidato Rame zip wallet and on my wrist is the fabulous double knot bracelet.

Forgot to upload the pic earlier...Anyways, I had her for over a year and never used her,so today was the perfect day(since it's NATIONAL HANDBAG DAY) to take her out for the first time to see the world. HAPPY NATIONAL HANDBAG DAY!!! 😀😊☺️

To my horror, just now my toddler ran a black ball-point pen she was fiddling with on the front flap of the bag :cry: I tried baby wipes to remove the long pen mark but no use ..could someone please advise how to get rid of it and clean my precious bag without damaging the color. Thanks..

I don't have a Twitter or Instagram account (weird for this day and age, I know), so I am just posting the bags I used/will use today. I normally use just one bag, or if at all, change into another bag for dinner - but since today is National Handbag Day, I used/will use 3 bags that have sentimental value to me in order to celebrate what handbags truly mean to me. Granted, I have several more that have sentimental value, but I went with these 3 for today.
I used my LV Speedy 35 with Eugenie wallet for this morning's breakfast and errands. These 2 were my first ever LV purchases, and were bought when I made it to executive in our multinational tech firm a few years ago - so they were milestone purchases as well. I used my Balenciaga City in Mauve for lunch out with DH and DD, and used my Prada saffiano wallet in Bluette to go with it. This was my first ever Bal, and one of DH's gifts to me for my 30th birthday. Lastly, I will use my Prada saffiano tote in Ottanio with my Prada saffiano wallet for walking around Michigan Ave this evening, and for dinner right after. Though this was not my first ever Prada, it was my first teal/green bag and so far my only Prada saffiano bag. This was purchased as one of my gifts for my birthday this year.
I also purchased 2 not-so-expensive bags for today (both of which I love too), and I was planning on using them today, but sentimentality got the better of me

I celebrated the day with my first ever high purchase which is my Miu Miu Bow Bag. I have a love hate relationship with the bag especially with the construction and leather quality but at the end of the day, I will never sell it away and uses it like the very first time I got it.
