Haha...thanks, GUNG! I have 6 bags in the current "rotation", so one had to get left out.

I can't see myself ever letting go of the Matinee. I'm not really a trend-follower, so that didn't really factor into its purchase, and I don't see it mentioned nearly as much as the MA, so I never really thought of it as "trendy" either! Maybe someday if there are countless knockoffs on the street and every other girl I see has one, then I'll become disenchanted, but as of now it's pretty unique (outside of TPF)! I still haven't run into another girl carrying one on the street, and I live in LA.

Didn't you just order a gray one, too? I know gray is trendy right now, but I doubt gray will ever be passe. After all, it's really just light black!

May I ask what you put in your Matinee bag (I know that sounds kind of Voyeuristic) but I am just wondering how other Matinee owners utilize all the pockets.

Oh, GUNG. Flattery will get you...everywhere. Thanks, girl! The Mercer clutch is pewter. That pic doesn't do it ANY justice. Here's a better pic, but it still doesn't pick up any of the shimmery flecks in the leather:

Lessee...in the main compartment I put the usual: wallet, sunglasses, wristlet w/membership cards and coupons, small notebook. Security card for work goes inside a slip pocket. I put my cellphone in one of the end pockets with the magnetic snap. Keys go inside one of the zippered end pockets. Other end pocket holds a pack of gum, little travel mouse for my laptop, iPod Shuffle. Side zip pocket holds a small book of stamps, a few business cards and some receipts. Other side zip holds a pen, lipgloss, small mirror, Burt's Bees lip shimmer.

I'm usually a pretty devoted Chameleon insert user, but I don't need it for the Matinee! There are more pockets than I've found uses for!

Oh, that Venetia in pomegranite is gorgeous. You know I have been debating whether my next purchase should be a really good leather bag or LV Manhattan GM, and you reminded me that I can have the best of both worlds, since the Venetia is the inspiration for the Manhattan GM. I love the front pockets and hardware.
