What are your thoughts on the perlee signature bracelet

Congrats on the new acquisition! It looks great on your wrist

I know you mentioned you won’t be wearing it 24/7 but do you think it is durable enough to wear 24/7? This piece in either YG or WG is on my wishlist too.

Not OP but I originally purchased one with the intention of wearing it 24/7 and later did not because I felt like it’s not as durable as my Loves/JUC. The gold is much thinner and delicate in construction compared to Cartier and it worries me that it might warp or bend if you sleep with it for long periods of time. Because of the beaded edge it also traps more grime near there and also on the inside part of the bangle where there’s some hollow areas. It collects more grime and dirt compared to my Cartier pieces and for that reason also I don’t leave it on 24/7 personally.

However I still stand by my purchase and have no regrets, I still love the piece for stacking but just ended up not wearing it 24/7 which I’m fine with.

I think the clash is a different look- edgy, and the Signature is a classic look. I love both. The Signature isn’t as dainty and fragile as someone else mentioned here, but it’s not a daily like a Love that screws closed.

The Clash seems like it wouldn’t be that comfy daily either? Maybe @nicole0612 can chime in, the queen of all that’s fabulous

I think taking it on and off daily will affect the hinge because there’s the press lock & the small latch; there’s been some TPF members reporting the latch becoming loose over time but it’s something that can be easily repaired by VCA. Just something to keep in mind. If you want an unfussy bangle that you never take on and off it’s better to go for the sturdy thicker types.

I have a regular LOVE & JUC. The LOVE never comes off and I’ve only taken the JUC off a few times. I’ve seen how loose the hinge can get on a JUC because my partner has one as well and his is pretty loose whereas my JUC’s hinge is pretty stiff… I can’t even get my JUC open without his assistance

I really do love the Signature Perlee bracelet - my partner does too but I would have to SO one for him because they only go up to 18.

I can’t speak to the signature, but the clash is extremely comfortable, moreso than the Love, as the Love has defined edges which can press on the skin and the clash has flexible edges. The spikes look like they would dig in, but they are soft and move.

Thanks so much! To be honest, my answer will be based more on my experience with another brand’s bangle which is the Qeelin Wulu Eternity Bangle that I have. It is essentially a cut out bangle and the motifs are not solid but just a cut out shape. I wore that 24/7 for 6 months and no bending or the motifs or the bangle. Based on that, I think the Signature bracelet should be ok to wear 24/7 since it’s not a cut out bangle

For me, its the signature in gold worn pretty much 24/7 along with a small gold diamond JUC. These mark special occasions and were given to me by special people so I love having them with me. On occasion, I take them off to clean them thoroughly especially the inside of the signature, and I do take them off if I am at the beach to avoid sunscreen, etc. Most often though I just use Dawn dish soap to soap them up while on my wrist and rinse. Then use a clean lint free towel to dry. Dawn soap, a degreaser, makes my diamond wedding ring shine too and I very rarely take that off either. Like most TPF-ers I do have other nice pieces that I wear on occasion, but these are my every day - part of me - easy pieces and they have weathered the constant wear very well.

All rose gold eventually oxidizes a bit but there are treatments out there that can restore the original color without polishing. This is for sure confirmed for Cartier because I recently brought in my old RG pieces and they were able to restore the color using a “special cream” as per my SA.

That being said I find VCA rose gold to be much more rosey than Cartier RG to begin with so in my experience they look more rosey for a longer time compared to Cartier. HTH!
