In gold? I like the cartier Juste un clou a lot but not sure if I’ll love it in 5 years and If it fits my more feminine (not edgy) style. Thoughts on the van Cleef signature perlee? Is it too plain? I like to stack bracelets if that makes a difference.

I love mine in rose gold! It pairs beautifully with my diamond tennis bracelet and Cartier Love and JUC, the diamonds really play off this bracelet.
Thank you. I have to choose between the juste un clou (regular size, without diamonds) and the van Cleef signature perlee. I have a tennis bracelet and two van Cleef 5 motif Alhambra bracelets that I will sometimes stack with whatever new piece I choose.

I think the perlee signature is nice for stacking. I think you summed it up in your initial post. You prefer more feminine designs and aren't sure you'd love the JUC in 5 years. I personally would prefer the signature with a tennis bracelet or Alhambra bracelets. I know MANY people combine Cartier and VCA, but I think the styles are extremely different. Don't buy something you don't love!

I love and wear mine a lot, for a bangle. I thought the signature would bother me, but it turns out that I love that touch of VCA. My favorite things about it are:
1) You can take it off easily.
2) The perlee edge protects the shiny polished surface.
3) The perlee edge makes it very comfortable against the wrist.
4) The polished surface is amazingly shiny.
5) As @baghagg said, great to stack with a diamond bracelet as it emphasizes the diamond bracelet without losing its presence.

For me, I like having a mix of styles that lean more edgy or more feminine so I can wear what I’m in the mood for. Have you had the opportunity to try both of these options at the boutiques?

I have tried on the Juste en clou. It looks alot nicer on me than the cartier love. However I’ll be stacking the Juste with busier bangles/ bracelets; so I was questioning the van Cleef signature. I haven’t tried on the van Cleef signature- I wasn’t a fan of the signature part in the past so it hasn’t been on my radar tbh.

Hi! Would you be comfortable sharing a pic of it in a stack on your wrist?

The signature engraving is actually very very thin, not deep into the bracelet, and not noticeable at all at a distance. The engraving is on the inner part of your wrist if you wear it with the clasp on your outer wrist side, so it’s really meant for just the wearer to see. Before trying it on for myself I wrote it off as being too branded, but after trying it on I really appreciate the light touch on the engraving and I find it to be elegant and not “in-your-face” with the brand name.

If your style is more feminine I think the perlee edge on this bangle will lend itself to that look. Cartier is definitely more edgy to me. I love to mix and match both personally but if you prefer more feminine touch I highly recommend you try on the Signature bangle before writing it off completely. It looks lovely worn alone or stacked.

Thank you! You convinced me :) I’ll make an appt at my nearby boutique.
