LOL, I totally remember that new rubber smell! I loved it too...hopefully that doesn't make us weird! If it does, oh well. I think I actually still have one of my Swatch watches in an old jewelry box at home that has a lot of my cheaper jewelry from middle school/high school in it.

I thikn those are way too sporty looking and have far too much business going on with them. And I hate to risk offending someone but those things look like they're worth about a quarter and cost a fortune.

Oh highschool memories! I had the scratch and sniff ones...and do any of you remember the Popswatch? We actually received a His and Hers limited edition swatch as a wedding present just last year. I don't wear it much as the color is Yellow and Black but the quality is amazing, they last forever.
Wasn't Popswatch the big ones were you can switch the actual watch?
I had some of them and loved them in 5th and 6th grade!
I have about 40 Swatches, all 'Skins', and they're all very diverse in their designs. Although I have a couple of 'luxury' watches, I tend to wear my Swatches on a daily basis. I love the size, the designs, and the fact that they're almost indestructible. They also don't need a battery change very often, which is nice. They're website has almost all (if not all) the current designs.

I hadn't thought of them in years, but then recently I was stuck window shopping in an airport that had 3 or 4 Swatch locations! I loved looking at them. And I was surprised at their cost. Seems like a bunch of companies are offering rubberized options now, and those are way more expensive than Swatch! I'm planning on getting one to wear when I'm running around. They're comfy, cute, and practically indestructible.
This thread certainly brings back memories! Swatch came out when I was in elementary school. I think I still have my first one at my parents' house! I'll have to go digging for it.
