I am trying to get back into the watch habit and the invicta I bought last year so far isn't doing it. I figure if I get a "plastic" watch I am more likely to wear it all the time.....I dunno though.

I've always associated swatch with my highschool days just because so many of us had one. That said, I don't think it's in any way juvenile or only for younger people. They always have such a large collection that there really is something for everyone.

The nicest thing about swatch is the thin profile of their watches. It's super sleek, particularly in the stainless steel designs. I have male friends who really like them, it suits their sporty, casual look. I don't really like some of their watches in the women's line, I think they're overly dainty (that's a personal opinion though).

Have you been in a boutique lately? They have EVERYTHING!! Chunky chronographs, sleek old school, etc. . . I loved them when I was in jr hi/hi school but still dig them - good memories :D

My clear plastic Swatch is my very favorite watch. It goes with absolutely everything, is nearly indestructable, is lightweight and very modern looking.

I have not been in one for a LONG time, but I need to check one out. I want to go try a few on and see what I think. I have a feeling if I get used to it with a light one, a nicer one won't cause issues :)

I dunno if we have one here but I know there's one in Mall of America and Ill be back in Minneapolis next month so I might check it out there.

All are very important to me! Esp indestructable!

I think they're fun. And they have a good warranty. I know someone who recently broke one they had for years and Swatch sent them a new one free of charge.

I do recall they did. I had some in JR High and HS and I remember breaking a strap or something and they sent a whole new watch.

OMG does anyone remember the way they SMELLED when they were new? I LOVED the rubber smell! Is that a weird thing to remember? When I think back it's one thing that jumps out at me! Like play dough or something. I used to LOVE swatch! Remember getting my very first turquoise blue one in HS too!!!

They still seem to be very popular - I think they're really fun! Way better than those rubber digital weird ones everyone in Europe is sporting!!

I have to admit- I have 6 or 7 swatches. My favorite is the one with silhouettes of exotic dancers, it looks like an old filmstrip. Hilarious and so cute. I love my swatches. LOVE! And...indestructable.

I have a renwed swatch love since they came out with the solid colors. I love those, especially the double banded ones.

If you wear it al the time and the band gets worn, you can replace it...
