I'm getting myself a green amethyst and diamond cocktail ring. It wasn't intended as a V Day gift, but heck, that's a good excuse. It's on sale + another 10% off but given the lousy Australian dollar and the fact that Macy's don't ship internationally I ended up paying $646 anyway. Boo! Oh well, I can't wait to get it.

Gorgeous! Lovely shade of green! Isn't it annoying to do international shipping? I have to do it all the time and pay an arm and a leg for it....

Looks like a lot of girls are getting themselves ring for Valentine's day!! Would make sense since boys getting any sort of ring for a girl is kind of a big step...

Hubby died of Pancreatic cancer just 10 months after diagnosis Went to the Dr. w/heartburn and just like that, the beginning of the end. Now, watching all of this unfold w/Patrick Swayze is like reliving the entire thing Just heartbreaking.

Now, this is supposed to be a happy thread, so.....what should I buy me, what should I buy me? Thinkin'......Thinkin'.......

Now...for Valentine's Day...for myself. I think I'm sticking to beads. Troll and/or Pandora. Maybe I'll splurge and buy a gold bead from Pandora!

Thanks forver 21! I love rings and I bought about 8 so far a pair of sterling silver gardenia earrings and today at Macy's I plan to buy a gold necklace. Lately, I have been a jewelry-a-holic!!! Lol! I love blingy stuff.

Buy whatever makes your heart sing! Think about what your husband would have wanted for you, and that's the best way to honor his memory. I believe in celebrating the life that has passed, and you keep their spirit alive by doing the things that they would do if they were still here! If he was like my husband, he would say, "Get whatever you want, if that makes you happy!"

Don't laugh, but I recently got into getting crocodile dog collars and wearing them as bracelets. They come with rhinestones and cute charms. I find the 3/4 inch wide works the best. You can wrap it around your wrist twice for a layered look. I've gotten many compliments and plan on buying a few more colors for my own V-Day present.

I bought myself a swarovski crystal watch, which is waaaaay prettier IRL. It was a total impulse buy.. I was having a terrible day and the sparkles cheered me up :shame:
