Assuming phone, keys, wallet. AirPods (to block out the beautiful sounds of children), a clip (to clip to the cart to prevent it getting swiped while grocery shopping) and chapstick (so I don’t die).

I'm going to forgo the wallet, phone, and keys, because this is the most basic function of my bag, to carry these things 
But beyond that - face powder, lip balm, and sunglasses. Though....I need my powder and lip balm SO much that they are always in my wallet. Okay - the toiletry pouch (small lotion, sanitizer, feminine stuff, bandaids), the office pouch (mini pad, pen, scissors, calculator, highlighter), and sunglasses. Maybe that's cheating, but it DOES illustrate why I need a bag, lol

I carry way too much! New York City subway rider so I can't leave stuff in a car. Besides the obvious...a book, Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, Swell water bottle.
My Salvatore Ferragamo wallet, my Persol sunglasses and the screwdriver of my LOVE bracelet just in case I need to remove it.
