I pare down what's in my bag a lot.

For necessity:

• 1 generic hard-case business card holder that I actually use for cards and ID that easily slides out and I can transfer bag to bag and know I always have money and ID with me when I need it. I'm looking for an upgrade though.

If I have the room:

• 1 clear/universal lip liner
• a portable retractable lip brush
• sample-size tube(s) of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar (usually some shade on the red spectrum)
• a nude gloss that gives that MLBB (my lips but better) effect
• Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream (the best if you wash your hands a lot or live in very dry/harsh climate)
• 1 refillable retractable lip product brush that I actually fill with 100% jojoba oil to moisturize long nails and increase its flexibly so that it's less likely to break

I rarely carry tissues or a mirror because unless you're out in the wild, there's always one in the car or bathroom.
