What are the outlets like?

The closest outlet is about 45 minutes or an hour drive and I always stop when traveling out of town. I found one when I stopped while traveling last year that is a gorgeous baby pink and very classy, large, well put together purse. I have heard people say that the bags at the outlets are not as well put together, but I have to say I was impressed with my pink bag and it was a much better price than at the mall.

Thank you for you response! The fp store isn't actually turning into an outlet, sorry should have been more clear about that, they're actually opening an outlet less than a mile away from this mall, which I don't understand that at all.. but the fp store is going to close and the outlet mall is opening up. From what I have gathered from my SA who is also the SM that this outlet is some sort of prototype? That it's going to be much more upscale, and furnished nicer than other outlets and most fp stores? Not exactly clear on this until I see it I guess, so I don't know if this will affect the deletes they get or what? I always assumed deletes went to very large outlets like woodbury commons or las vegas.

My understanding is that all outlets will be getting some kind of overhaul in the near future. One of the Chicago-area outlets was recently upgraded, though I haven't seen it in person. Coach is now working toward this model called Modern Luxury across all stores, FP and outlet, so I believe you can expect to see changes no matter which stores you shop.
