Okay. Here I go again. First I bought my light khaki/champagne Op Art Sateen Madeline, which I absolutely love. Then, I got an Ocelot print mini Madeline. Cute, but I decided that I would not really use it, so I returned it and traded up to a Midnight Oak leather Madeline, although I had lusted for the saffiano and smooth leather version, which was more expensivr. So today, like Bali Hai, Lord & Taylor, and it's fabulous sales was calling me

I traded up again to the large Madeline of my dreams, midnight violet saffiano with a more plum shaded smooth leather, and headed home:

Aha! A new dust bag...

I'm afraid my pictures do not do my new bag justice. The combination of the very dark violet of the saffiano with the plum shade of the smooth leather is so gorgeous. And I love the satin lining in the same plum color. I'm in ecstasy.

Oh, I forgot. You're to blame, Elsee! The picture of your saffiano Sadie made me think, "I should have sprung for the extra bucks and bought the saffiano Madeline," and so today I strolled right back to L&T. Thank you!
