To answer the original question about Hermes, I would think when someone develops a taste for the brand and has money available to pay for it.There have been so many good replies, so I'll just put it this way: what's the best age to have your first kiss? To get your first career-track job? To transition from your parents' cell phone plan to your own? To get a credit card? The answer varies based on so many factors. The "best" age, as others have said, is the age where you want it and can afford it. Whether that's 20 or 80, or something in the middle, is going to depend on the person.
