WG Guilloiche Earrings or WG Vintage Alhambra Pave Earrings?

I really would like to try anything in white gold but, most seriously would consider pave Vintage Alhambra, Guilloche vintage Alhambra, 2 motif Magic Alhambra, Perlee Clover Hoop and even sparkly little Pave Sweet Alhambra.

Problems are there're some earrings that SA couldn't order as they are on no-order list and to make things worse, most of the time SAs cannot hold stocks for even for customers to try when they are received by the Boutique - at least these were my experiences with the 2 VA earrings, i.e. YG Guilloche and WG Pave when I got them last year and YG Large Frivole last month though i must admit that I was lucky enough to wait for a bit to get my hands on these earrings.

That's too bad. I'm trying to decide on the right WG earrings. I've already got diamond studs and Tiffany Victoria earrings in the medium size. I've got the WG guilloche 5 motif Alhambra bracelet which I wear with a Perlee Clovers pendant. It'll be a slow search, I'm not in a hurry.
OMG are you me? I have all of the same pieces (except I opted for the guilloche ring instead of the bracelet) 😂
I had the same debate, WG guilloche vs pave earrings. In the end I opted for the guilloche earrings because I feel that they're more unique. Pave is everywhere, but not every jewelry house can do guilloche and do it well. Plus I was in need of a solid WG pair to break up my diamond pieces.

My decision aside, you can't go wrong with either. Guilloche earrings would give you a more cohesive look whereas pave would shake things up and add a third texture (guilloche, perlee, pave). It really depends on the look you're going for. If you can find a boutique that has both pieces, I would recommend taking a look so you can decide between sparkle vs shine.

My experience, so far, has been that pieces can be held if I pay for them to be brought in or set aside. Though sometimes, definitely some pieces just are not available to be ordered at the time we want to see them.

Thanks. Good point about Guilloche. I like that they are different from anything else I already have and are the perfect match for my bracelet. Also, I'm not afraid of mixing it up, I just want it to all play well together.

Yes, same as to what we all experienced, that means there are some pieces that are under no order list (i.e. customer cannot order/place deposit to bring in) and some other pieces that customer can order/place deposit

Those that are under no order list, customers can only wait for SAs to call them when they are received by the store or if we come at the right time when store receive them. So, that’s why sometimes it’s very difficult for SAs to hold/set aside stocks if we only want to try, unless if it’s 100% confirmed we will make the purchase.
