Depends on the ering. Some look great with a diamond band and some don't. I have a plain plat solitaire and I have a diamond band and a plain band. I usually wear the diamond band with the ering or with the plain band, but I don't wear the plain band with the e-ring because they are two different "shapes".

I have a11 or 12mm heavy gold wedding band. I wear it when I don't want to worry about losing diamonds, etc. I alsko had an e-ring, but it could not be worn at the same time due to W band width,

7 years later I did get an interesting setting for my E ring, that a plian, but curved (like an "S" curve, just not as extreme. It is white gold, with 1/2 bezel set yellow gold bezel. There is amatching pave band in yelloe gold, and a third plain band in YG. So a two-tone setting. It's hard to describe, maybe I'll take a pic (am so lazy wityh that)

Herte it is (with help from Vlad for resizing photo)
This is very pretty and unique...I really love it!

My original wedding ring is a plain gold band and my original e-ring is a pear solitaire.

For our tenth anniversary, I got a three stone ring and I now wear that with a five stone band. I think that they look very nice together.

--Thank you LV! Yours sound lovely - send pics if you can

I used to have an eternity band (1st marriage - it didn't last an eternity - almost - 28 years). It was about 1.5 carats - when I remarried, I took the stones from that and made an etoile-style band for DH. Now I have a 3-stone princess engagement ring, and I got a 5-stone wedding band - 5 princess stones. I tried on several eternity bands with the larger stones - my 5-stone band is about the same weight as my old eternity band - and it was very uncomfortable to me.

Whatever works!

i voted for eternity, but it depends on ur ering. i have a thin, channel set band with princess cut diamonds, about 1 ctw. i love the look of eternity bands, but they do have their drawbacks... difficult if not impossible to ever resize! as per my friends who have 1/2 bands or such, their bands tend to rotate so that the diamonds are always off to the side or completely upside down...
