Hi Ladies! I have another dilemma today and hope to hear some of your opinions. I have done a search on the forum before starting this thread.

I'm planning to purchase a LV agenda pm in either the mono or the damier ebene canvas. I am after one that is durable and wouldn't show wear and tear quickly since I plan to carry it everyday in my purse. Someone said on the forum that the mono canvas fades over a year or two. However, I don't know if the damier ebene canvas would do the same.

My question to everyone that currently owns one or even two agendas in mono or damier ebene canvas is:
- how many years have you had the agenda for?
- how often do you use it?
- is it showing wear & tear? If so, can you tell me which part on the diary
shows the most wear.

Thank you so much in advance for your help! :smile1:

I have the Damier Ebene GM.

It is 5 years old.

I use it practically every day; it is carried back and forth from work and taken to meetings etc.

There is practically no evidence of wear whatsoever. All the varnished edges are fully intact. The binders still operate smoothly when I switch out the diary parts every year. There is some slight tarnish and scratching to the snap fastening but not really a surprise given everyday use.

Hope that helps.

Large Agenda in mono since 2002, use it on and off.

Still looks brand new...

Infact, I love agendas and have been through a gazillion different types but LV is my favourite and I keep going back to it.

I have a mono one used daily for ten years. Still beautiful. They are a wonderful value.

'Charleston-mom' and 'Sofis2011' - do you feel that your mono agenda has faded in any way? what about glazing on the corners peeling?

same here. Mine was my first LV purchase in 2000. 11 years later, it still looks and smell the same.. some minor scratches even though it rumbles and tumbles in my bag with other items. The quality is superb !

Done have either but carried a black multicolor for 4 yrs and it was in amazing condition when I sold it. I carried it everyday, tossed it in bag.. Never babied it.
Either one of those agenda are going to wear well.

No fading. No problems with glazing either. It's still gorgeous. I actually passed this one down to my college age daughter so it's been through the mill! I bought the koala with the pink interior five years ago. Both are gorgeous. Hers looks better than mine. My interior has gotten a little dirty.

View attachment 1463712Okay - Here are some pictures of the edges of my agenda, purchased in 2006, and used every single day, hard, for 5 years, thrown around in all of my purses.

Wow charleston-mom your diary looks fantastic! Now I'm leaning towards the mono canvas. Can't wait to see some pics of your 10yr old mono agenda!

By the way I see you have purchased a Tiffany & Co pen. Would it fit in the small ring agenda as well? How long have you had the pen for? Any problems with it?

Thanks
