I bought a grooming bag 6 weeks ago and it already has a hole in it. :annoyed::annoyed: Bought it new through an SA, have used it 3-4 weeks of normal use. Anyone else had this problem? What do I do??? I already reached out to the SA but haven't heard back yet. I'll give her a little time.

If you bought it online, I would send it back as faulty. That should be embarrassing for Hermes. I think you should ask for a replacement or refund and they should do that immediately.

Yes, that's what I thought too, about how it's embarrassing for them. I couldn't believe it. But I didn't buy it online myself. I had the SA do it, even though I could have bought it online myself. And that just because of trying to establish a relationship, and then it gets a hole . . . the irony.

The longer it's left the longer H can wiggle out of their obligations. Personally, I wouldn't have given them a minute.
I don't think even 6 months is long for a bag that was supposed be used as a durable utility bag, the bag was faulty very soon after buying but even after 6 months it's still a faulty bag.

Frankly, I don't think it's up to the SA. Tell them you feel disappointed with the quality, tell them what you want to happen. Then negotiate, the SA should make it right for you IMO.
Yes, I agree. I just kind of forgot about it, which is ridiculous but anyway. I do have some ideas of what I want to ask her for. And I just want a refund on this bag.

In my experience, H’s first reaction is ALWAYS to send any item with an issue to the spa for assessment and repairs. Be prepared for this to be your SA’s only suggestion. At six months past purchase date, it is likely your only option (ie arguing for full new replacement will probably be fiercely denied) and they are likely to charge you the repair fees. Had this happened within the first few days (not weeks) they would likely insist on spa but cover the fee. Please let us know the outcome when you do take it in!
