Why don't you go to an office supply store, they generally have PDA/Ipod covers that are like these thin, clear sheets of durable plastic. You could probably cut out a little circle and just stick it onto the back of your watch.

This sounds like a great idea actually! I wouldve never thought of it! The problem is that if youre allergic to stainless steel - the back of the watch of most watches are stainless steel in the end, so whether your strap is rubber or not, youll still get irritation from the back of your watch's face.

great idea! decided to save up for the chanel...a fe more months to go....
