Washington DC boutique!

Though I don't think the standalone Chanel boutique will close in Tyson's. If it does, there's still a Chanel inside the Neiman Marcus (but it's really small). Hoping to one day visit the City Center location once it's less busy. Hopefully it'll die down in August.

I am pretty certain that Chanel Tysons will remain open. I imagine both boutiques (Tysons and City Center) will serve the entire DMV area + tourist traffic.

I visited the DC boutique. My beloved Saks SA Annie is now working at that location. The line was fairly short--about 7 ppl ahead of us did not take long to go inside. They have 21B items for purchase.. not available in other locations for another 2 weeks. I went with a friend, she found the Dad sandals in her size. I wasn't so lucky; what I wanted was sold out, but I could reserve it at Tyson's boutique. The boutique is large, and I believe they will treat that location as a destination store ---DC is a tourist destination, they will probably be well stocked compared to the other ones. We then visited the Hermes boutique; she had luck finding what she wanted there as well. Overall, I'm happy that DC has all the luxury stores in a central location, and I don't have to trek out to VA or MD.

It is a beautiful store! About a 20 minute wait on Saturday afternoon. I actually had to wait longer for LV. The store is huge and quite well stocked. Tried on the extra mini coco handle among others, first time I had seen that one in person. The RTW sections were stunning and they had huge jewelry and makeup areas. Love this boutique!

I got the same letter as well super excited to visit over the weekend.
Some of my SAs from the Tysons boutique and Bethesda Saks Chanel went there so I don't even need to find new people to work with!

I love that they are going to be carrying ready to wear we only had Neiman or Saks option for that route in this neighborhood.

Went in earlier this afternoon, so beautiful and spacious didn't even have to wait around noon on a Monday. Lots of bags and shoes in stock I got to try on pretty much everything on my list including mini flaps!

Yes — in a temporary location while the boutique is being redesigned.
