She stated that some patients request the larger eyes so she makes suggestions and ultimately it's up to the patient. I felt very comfortable and confident with her. I experienced no pain throughout the entire recovery. There is a bit of a pulling on the temples the first day. I was out and about in public about a week after even prior to getting my stitches removed. I did about 3 additional complimentary follow up visits to make sure that I am healing properly. She did such a great job that no one noticed that I had the surgery. Friends comment I look younger. I am now a little over 2 years surgery and my sister will be getting her eyes done with her next year. Again, I am so sorry that your experience/results. I just thought it fair that I share my experience so that people get honest feedback from multiple people who have had surgeries with her. (I've been on this forum for over 10 years and have not posted in a while. I am in no away affiliated with Dr. Ho Taghva or anyone who knows or works for her.)

Hi, I've heard TERRIBLE things about Dr. Ho Taghva. She botched my friend and she can't close her eyes anymore. Dr. Charles Lee in Beverly Hills botched my eyes so bad. I have sausage eyes and overcorrected ptosis and it's ruined my life. I won't even see friends. I'm devastated. My eyes are dry all the time and the scars are hideous. I will be going to Korea to fix them

I'm happy you are happy but this review seems like it's from her team. Why would you put this in a thread where someone is suffering at the hands of Dr. Ho Taghva? Doesn't smell right

First of all, I have been on this forum for over 10 years and I do NOT work for “Dr Goretti/team”. Also please do not tell me not to share my personal experience or where do go on this forum. I’ve had some members PM me regarding this thread and I have always said, do their research and find “a Dr that they feel comfortable with”. I have never said ONLY trust Goretti! In what way have I ruined your life by sharing my experience? If you were botched then you should take action against Dr. Goretti and it's within your rights to share YOUR experience on here. Do NOT attack me or any person on this forum because they had a different result or opinion than you. The only person that can ruin your life is you with your negativity and attacking others.

So one doc botched your eyes, and another one botched your friends? I’m sorry for your experience but these forums just seem like people trying to complain

it's so rude to ask this imo. They are warning us and can be at risk of being sued by these awful surgeons for just speaking out. Also if they wanted to share, they would have. No one wants their botched face on the internet to live forever and be passed around person to person.

And THEN she tried to do revision but it just made my folds uneven with worse scarring. The horrible scars make it look very obvious that I had surgery.

I got major depression from living with these botched eyelids for over a year now. i am writing this to warn you all and to save you from going through what I did. now I have to save money and take time off to go to korea to fix this mess. she did not even offer a refund or apology.

She was extremely sloppy with my eyes, both pre surgery and stitches which resulted in horrible scars. I'm desperately researching for someone to fix my eyes. If you find someone, please let me know. Can you post some before and afters? I don't think anyone is attacking you, I just think there are a lot of trolls on these sites and it's hard to know if these are real experiences or just cyberbullying

You will never understand until it’s on your face and body and you have to live with it. You will never understand until your identity is taken. You will never understand until a surgeon does whatever he wants and doesn’t listen to want you asked for. If a surgeon mauls your face, you have every right to complain. The majority of botched patients are in so much pain, many are suicidal, their surgeons ghost them, they live in shame, they can’t see their family or friends, and have no where to go but these forums. Have some compassion. No one owes you photos. Period.
