I'm a fan of the 22. It's "just right." It's big enough to carry more than just the essentials, but not massive. The 18 was just to small for my day to day needs.

Curious why you sold? Was it due to functionality?I sadly sold bothI think it depends on your physique and needs. P18 is always more sought after because of the mini bag trend but I really like the p22 proportion unless you are like 4’10”
I initially bought it for my mom. She just isn’t as interested in H compared to me. I initially got her a b30 (my first ever quota) and she used it once. She said she would prefer something casual so I got her the pico18. She used it more than a few times but then it stayed in the closet afterward. The pico22 was an impulse purchase. I really wanted a bleu zellige item and I knew it was a seasonal color. I got my SA to transfer the pico from another store to mine. Never worn it and after I got my SO with bleu zellige, I just decided to sell it. I will stand by the statement that picotin is my second favorite H bag after the Lindy.

Thanks for the insight! Your mom is a lucky woman! The 18 looks super cute but I am afraid it might be too small. The 22 looks like a great size. I like the Evelyne bag as well but a friend of mine has it and refuses to use it (she is worried it will get ruined somehow), so I don't wan't to purchase that bag. I also am not crazy about the Garden Party bag, but the Picotin is super cute. I think it's perfect for my first H bag
I love the evelyne! I have a beton evelyne 33 and I use it as my .... “carefree” bag. I have not had any problem with anything. It looks brand new. Evelyne and picotin are two very different style. I've used both sizes. It really depends on your needs and how you want to carry them. With the 22, it is deeper and therefore can hold a long wallet but I find it harder to reach inside the bag. This is partly due to the handles and the strap being in the way. If you don't put the strap across the top of the bag, there may be security issues. The 18 on the other hand may be more prone to security issues due to it being shallower. Unless you cover the top with a scarf or something, someone can pickpocket fairly easy. I think everyone agrees that 18 scores the cuteness factor. I just went back to basics and got a black with gold hardware just a few weeks ago.
Please feel free to post pics! Love to see everyone's bags- hoping it helps me find a color I want. I am prone to picking black or the brown one. I saw the orange and that pulled my heart strings!

Mel in Melbourne also has a recent video on YT comparing the 18 and the 22. I had been planning to get a 22 but found an 18 I couldn't turn down and it's surprisingly roomy. TBH I don't carry much with me though, just phone, small wallet, key pouch and small toiletry bag, and it could easily fit a ton more. Because it's one open "bucket" you can fit a quite a lot. Even though I'm petite I had initially thought the P18 looked small when I carried it and the P22 looked a bit more proportionally "correct", but I am finding that I don't need a bigger size. (though that doesn't mean I might not end up buying another Picotin, I love these bags!) You'll find a ton of pics and mod shots in the Ode to Picotin thread. Happy hunting!

Agree. I am 5'2" and think 22 is a great size too. I have both 18 and 22. Just different feel.I sadly sold both
