it probably would, but it escapes me on how you would put a whole bag (safely) in a position to be exposed to vinegar fumes! LOL
it does not give a rusted smell. Rust is Iron exposed to Oxygen in water (same as blood). don't ask me what Brass+Vinegar is LOL; I think I cheated in high school chemistry
there is no smell at all. my understanding is that oxidation, unlike rust, involves only the top layer of exposed molecules, much like tarnished silverware. once you rub it off, it's shiny and silver/brass again. in fact, the antiqued brass i made is quite shiny, which makes it a bit unlike the matte-ish Balenciaga hdwr.
Wow! So given that it's the top layer.. Does this new brass effect feel weird to the touch or rub off easily to reveal the original brass that you've noticed thus far?
