My Wandler collection is growing! I have the Georgia, Carly and have recently ordered the Penelope which was 50% off at 24S (waiting to receive it). I’m also eyeing the Lois for a less obvious large jodie dupe.
I love that these bags are understated while also feeling good quality. There’s just the right amount of hardware for me as well. Some of their bags don’t work for me but there always seem to be a couple that hit the modern and cool vibe I’m looking for. @totally has pointed out their inspo is very clearly old Celine, which I think makes their bags popular for people who want a beautiful, low key bag for less. I have noticed their recent lines are nearly sold out at NAP and other retailers.
I do think the bags are quite overpriced for such a new, relatively unknown brand. It also seems to be a brand that is gifted to influencers which at first made me question their quality.
I typically wait for steep sales to buy the bags I like. For example, I got a chestnut Carly for 60% off from Farfetch last year. I do wish they were priced closer to Polene and other such contemporary brands.
