Is the pocket pretty wide, for lots of papers/receipts or maybe a phone? It looks quite wide on the site but hard to tell from a picture....

Thanks, glad it's a help to you. Personally, I have been leaning towards to Mono, but after seeing all the great wallets/styles/colors...they are all beautiful & I think any of them would look great with any bag!


I am trying to focus on function vs. print at this point to see what will work best for my needs. I think I'll be happy with any print as long as the wallet does it's job for me. :D

Honestly, I'd focus on the LV wallet style you love most and in your favorite color and/or material. LV has so many gorgeous wallets and I think they are designed to complement all LV bags. I chose the Curieuse in Havane because it looks so nice with my DE and it will look as nice with mono. I even carry it with my Chanel bags. It's my favorite wallet if all time! I do have a zippy coin purse for my small bags such as Alma bb. In short, get the wallet you Love and it doesn't have to exactly match all of your bags, but it will still go with them. Some people coordinate all of their slg's while others mix and match. It's personal preference so have a little fun too!

That's so practical. I want to be like you when I grow up! lol. I think I need a long wallet that zips around. That's what I have now and it works well. But I don't like the zip around style. I tend to through a lot of crap in my wallet (a zillion receipts, macys coupons, etc...), which all fall out if I don't carry a zip around wallet.

Really great advice! I think you're right about the Curieuse in Havane. I'm sort of leaning towards that now. I didn't use to be a fan of the empreinte (which is weird because I typically only buy the Guccissima Gucci embossed bags), but I'm seeing more purses in it that I really love. I'll go to the store this weekend and start investigating.

Hi! My Samsung galaxy 4 fits in it but I haven't tried both yet. I'm not sure if the wallet would close if it's stuffed with phone & papers together. There are pockets behind the cc slots in the back section. So there are 4 cc slots in front & 8 cc slots in the back section. It's a great wallet!

lol... I also have a zip around style now, which I like---but I never zip it up! I always end up with too many cards, receipts, coupons, and papers inside so it stays 'open.' Hate that, and heaven forbid it falls to the floor...what a mess. Yes, that happened to me once in a store. ugh, lol So, I'm using this new wallet purchase as a chance to reorganize & maybe downsize what I keep in my wallet! :p

This is what happens when I have a zippy style wallet....it becomes a tumbleweed of receipts and cash, and for some reason I become very disorganized. That said, I do have a zippy empreinte, but I use it now for days when I need to carry a lot of cash (sometimes when traveling too), but then I take it out of rotation.

Here is one of my favorite wallets, the curieuse in midnight blue. I love everything about it. The size, the leather, the organization, the removable pouch....everything is just stellar.

I also love the zippy compact wallet. Great wallet for smaller bags, keeps me very streamlined, but if you carry a lot of cash it can become bulky in the middle. The deep pocket for bills is pretty deep and takes some adjustment, also this is not a wallet for people who accumulate a lot of coins. I love the layout of this wallet and its size makes it really practical. When I am not using it, I miss it.

Today I am using my Emilie wallet. It is much like the curieuse except without the removable coin pouch, but the layout is similar. I like how slim and carefree it is. It holds more than it seems, and I love the yellow burst of color when I open it!
