Wallet suggestions needed!

I have two Sarahs and I LOVE them. My favorite wallets! I have six other wallets ( LV, Fossil, Coach, MK ) and the Sarahs are my go to wallets.

My mono wallet is 11 years old and in the old style. There is some slight curling in the first four credit card slots, my fault for overstuffing them. I should probably get it reglazed soon, a little bit of glazing issues on one side, nothing noticeable to anyone, but me. This has been a work horse and my most used wallet.

My other Sarah in da is in the new style. I use this mostly in the spring/summer. This one is newer and has some curling on the back slip pocket and again on the first set of credit card slots. For awhile I was putting gift cards and loyalty cards in the those slots and, would double up trying to keep things organized. I don't do that anymore.

I have been considering a third Sarah in de in the new style, but what is holding me back is the price. I bought my first Sarah in 2011 and the price increase since then...ouch. I have fun money set aside, but it is the principle of the thing...I feel like I am being price gouged by LV and that makes me feel cranky. lol.

FWIW, I don't baby my wallets and purses. I don't abuse them, but I use them often and normally. If you are more careful with your items, you may not have the curling issues? I don't know. If the potential for curling really worries you, you may want to choose a wallet other than the Sarah.

I have LOVED both of mine. They are a pleasure to use.

I prefer the zipped styles. I have had my original style Zippy Compact Wallet for around ten years and it's holding up beautifully. I also have a Zippy Organiser which has had less use (really only for travel) but it's great too. I would worry about the stress on a flap over many years of use, but the zipped models are very durable in my experience.

I’m looking at either the clemence or zippy, I love the look of the Sarah but the potential curling turns me.

What were some deciding factors for those of you that have the Clemence vs Zippy? I like that the Clemence may fit in more bags than the Zippy….

I don't have this wallet, but I once thought the Emilie was a perfect long wallet. Not too bulky amd enough bill and card slots.

The zippy has a lot more colour and style options such as the pink denim and giant monogram reverse canvas. So that could be a deciding factor for you if you are looking for different colours/styles.

I buy so much black when it comes to wallets and bags, so I’ve decided I want my next wallet to be pink. If they bring out a pink Clemence I’ll be buying it!

I have had Zippy, Clemence, Sarah, (and other wallets Emilie Josphine and other brands full size wallets) for full size LV wallets, Sarah is the best in my opinion, Zippy is too heavy, Clemence is a bit short in height, both zippy and clemence style has one problem is can't tell which side is which, Sarah is the best easiest to use especially with front 4 card pockets and back 1 pocket

I LOVE the back pocket on the Sarah. so convenient to slip in items when checking out.

Thank you!! I’m thinking my choice will be the Sarah. I think the Zippy would drive me crazy in terms of having to zip and unzip every time I needed or wanted something.

I have been looking for another wallet for months. At the beginning I didn’t want to buy anything from LV because I already have 3 LV wallets AND LOVE them, but wanna try other brands as well. I am looking for a compact wallet that can fit 8 cards, I looked at Dior, Chanel and Hermes but no one fits! So I am back to LV!

1.) I am considering to get the clemence, may I ask how does it hold up in terms of wear and tear! I have two Sarah and one Victorine, all are fine so far! I don’t know the current quality of LV wallets!!

2.) I used to have the zippy wallet in epi but lost it years ago - so I am also considering maybe to get another zippy wallet! So do you think should I get another one or just get the clemence! I know it is a strange question but I just can’t decide

If you don't mind me asking, why are you considering getting Clemence if you already have Sarah wallet? I felt while Clemence is slightly slimmer but not too much difference to Sarah and Sarah is so much easier to use.


PS.I would stick with Sarah over zippy and clemence

I am considering getting clemence is because the Sarah is too big now for me, I do not have that many cards anymore like in the past. I used to have another a different type of cards, but now I carry max. 8 cards including IDs. I have the victorine but it is just too small and I use it only in small bags. So I am looking something (in between) similar but just a little bit smaller/thinner. I thought Clemence might be a good fit.

I see. if you don't carry much cash pocket organizer (it's like a folded card holder) will work great, or key pouch, or even card holder, if you carry cash coins etc, smallest would be zippy coin purse will holds a lot, for full size, believe it or not Hermes Bearn is slim and easy to use, it is as slim as clemence and holds as much as full size LV organier wallet or Sarah / Zippy wallet, very light weight, has zippered compartment for important notes cash etc but it maybe pricier.

I do carry cash coins. I did not know that a zippy coin purse can hold a lot. Maybe I should consider the zippy coin as well. I do not like the style of Hermes wallets LOL. I was even considering the compact zippy wallet from Loewe but my heart is still with LV

Based on what you want to hold, I would look at the zippy coin purse or even the Rosalee or Zoe wallet.

Is your organizer the older model with the pen loop or the newer one with the the sewn pockets in place of the flap/fly pocket? I was pondering this for the longest time. I may just bite the bullet before the personalization option goes away.
