Looking at going the pre loved route. Needing a full-size wallet and thinking monogram.

In terms of durability, what wallets hold up well?

I was pining after the Sarah for the longest time but I’m not a fan of the curling of the edges and glazing issues some of the older styles have. I do like the privacy factor of the flap for cards, cash, and such.(That everyone can’t see your cards unlike the zippy when unzipped)

TIA!

I have the Sarah and the Clemence wallets. I prefer Clemence. It's lightweight, lots of card slots, but quite compact for a full sized wallet and the zipper is smooth like butter.

The Sarah wallet would be great for someone who REALLY carries a lot. It is quite bulky on its own. I own it in the limited edition white monogram (from way back), and I have to be honest, I never really used it throughout the years.

I have a few each of the Zippy, Clemence, Sarah, and Insolite. If you are looking for monogram canvas, I suggest the Zippy or Clemence. Both are great wallets that do not warp or change shape over time. The Clemence is more compact so it can fit in some bags that the Zippy cannot. But if you carry a lot, the Zippy has the most compartments and card slots. I love these wallets so much that I have a bunch of them to match my bags. For me, the Sarah seemed to curl on the edges, as you’ve noted, although it doesn’t seem to happen to the empreinte and epi leather ones that I have. The Insolite is older, harder to find, and prone to its own problems with cracks and peeled glazing. Good luck deciding!
