I checked 3 necklaces that I own just for comparison purposes. Two were from my family jeweler and the third was VCA. All of them have lobster clasps and were soldered.

I personally don't like the old spring clasps. They are hard for me to maneuver.

Is it possible to take to a jeweler to get fixed? At least you could wear it and not worry about losing it. It sounds like since you're out of warranty that Vrai is not going to help you out.

Yeah, I also have never been a fan of the spring clasps either. I do think it would be nice if vrai did fix it for you free of charge. It would have demonstrated excellent customer service. However, you purchased the necklace years ago so it’s not within warranty.
