Vinted scammer! SAD!

Ugh! That site is well on its way to becoming a clone of iOffer, Listia, Poshmark, etc.

So many items are fake and some of those showing authentic pictures use pictures stolen from other sources. i just reported picture theft of one of my images for an item I sold on Bonz in Aug. 2011.

Although the people you're dealing with are individual sellers, the site is (or should be) responsible for keeping its members safe.

There's a "report" button in each listing. Use it and see how they (mods and admin) respond.

Have you already paid for that bag? Has that payment been refunded and they are now asking for you to pay by different means?

I paid on Vinted with my AE card, and still trying to figure it out how to cancel the transaction. I am not too worried since I was using AE:D, AE is the best credit card on the planet!

Nope, seller contacted me immediately after I paid on Vinted and asked me to cancel transaction then pay via Paypal. I am trying to see how to report her, and I messaged Vinted Service Team still not heard from them since.

Well now what? Her account became "Unknow"...is she blocked me? or Vinted suspended her?
My guess is suspension. I think if you're blocked, you can't contact the seller but her listing(s) would still be viewable.

I'm guessing this ^^^ based on how other sites work. I haven't been blocked by a seller yet so I can't give definitive information. :D I'm sure it will happen and I'll let you know what a "block" looks like!

That site is a hideous mess of counterfeit bags....

It is shocking how out in the open they are....

I hope they removed YOUR photo.....

what nerve.....

Nope, I don't have a Paypal and I learned my lesson, I only pay through whatever the site with my AE card!

Hi Jessica,

You still want to be VERY VERY careful, in that
even though AE will do chargebacks for counterfeit items or INR,
You still only have a certain amount of times you can file a
Chargeback.....

I would check into another service like Paypal....

I hope this seller doesn't now have your AE credit card number....

I would not give your number to anybody on that site after looking at it....

Good luck... I hope you find the bag you want on a more reputable site.... and are able to get
your money back....

You might want to try Malleries....

Call AE immediately, explain your situation & likely, you may do a charge back & yes, it's within a certain time period.

Stay away from this seller & website. It's good that you have reported this seller & just leave it as that. Hopefully, you won't have to hear about anything more.

The transaction should reflect on your AE account if you paid today
in the next 24- 48 hours.

I'd call & have it on record just in case....

That's why AE is so great... it is a recorded conversation & just
waiting for your go ahead should you need to file a dispute..

You might want to wait before you file a chargeback and contact vinted first.

From vinted:

Enter your credit card information into our secure system. Your financial information stays completely private, and the money won't be transferred to the seller until you have received and approved your order.

No wonder the seller wanted to use PP.

Okay now seller kept calling me. I answered the first phone call since I didn't know that's her, she was yelling over the phone asked me why I lied on feedback. By the way did I mention I left her a negative feedback after post this thread and in between of finding out how to cancel the transaction? I found a little bottom of leaving feedback, I left her a negative feedback warning other potential buyers. And then I saw her account became "unknown" nearly after, still not sure if she blocked me or Vinted suspended her.

Then she sent me a dirty text this afternoon and kept calling me just now, I shouldn't gave her my cell at very beginning.

Now I am waiting for Vinted to see how to cancel the transaction. I think it will cancel automatically if item not scan to ship after the 7th day.
