Vintage Alhambra Single Pendant Chain Size

Standard is 16 inches, they will add up to 2 inches complimentary. If you have a good sa, you can get 3 inches.

You can request the jump link, but they may charge. They do not do them for regular pendants, only Magic and diamond pieces.

Thank you sjunky for your input. It is only for the plain YG vintage pendant so they will just add up the links I assume. If I can't wear it in16 inches after the 2 inches lengthened then I guess I will leave it as it is. I don't know it is just me but when I wear my vintage pendant in 14 inches it doesn't look flattered on me so no use of the existed jump ring it comes with originally. [emoji29]

When I had my onyx pendant lengthened, they removed the 16" jump ring but left the 14" one. Like you, I have no plans to ever wear the necklace at 14" as it looks too tight around my neck. I wish they had just removed that ring completely because the chain looks dumb with a jump ring on it that I never intend to use. At least if they had left the 16" jump ring, I could have alternated between wearing the pendant at 18" and 16". Not entirely sure of their policy but this was my experience. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much HeidiDavid. I know right? Though I sometimes wear my sweet pendant in14 inches for layering with other necklace but I would not wear the vintage pendant in 14 inches.
How do you like it after it was adjusted? May I ask? I didn't extend my onyx pendant but thinking I might try to lengthen my YG pendant..🤔

After being lengthened, my pendant looked so much better! I am tall-ish and have a long neck, so I don't think I could ever wear anything at 14"! Lol.

So you have the onyx pendant and now the gold one? I am considering the gold one too. Do you like it? Does it show up on your skin? My one concern is that the single motif in yg will blend into my skin too much. The onyx was great because the contrast really makes it stand out. I would definitely have yours lengthened so you can enjoy it more. Maybe you can request to have them leave the 16" jump ring in and to remove the 14" one. In the future, that is what I will try to do. I have no idea if they would honor my request, but it's worth asking to get it just right!:smile1:

I know this is an old thread, but I have just had my vintage rose gold Alhambra lengthened, the lovely SA made sure she asked them to extend by 2 inches and remove the 14 inch jump ring. I now have an 18inch pendant with an option to wear it at 16inches and the 14 inch removed.
I really did not want the 14 inch jump ring left in as I will never wear it at that length.
I think the default without special instructions is just to add an extender to the 16inch chain, which makes sense as doing it that way is probably less time consuming
