Well you know, I have a rather casual style, make-up is a big chore for me and I cannot define myself as snazzy by any means. The two SAs I met said that obviously I knew what I wanted and that helped a lot to get an offer (which I declined, because it was not what I wanted) and then à la carte offer.
Don't worry about being the "right" type of person, I'm more and more convinced it doesn't exist.
Being at the right place at the right time (and being kind...) is enough and it seems that the right time is now, at least in France.

I will only believe this SO thing when I'll have it in my hand ! It gave me the impression that once you have chosen, the order disappears in a black hole.
I chose swift vert cyprès with tonal stitching, shiny GHW and anemone lining.
I hesitated with a bright pink but feared the outside appears darker in contrast.
What about your choice ?

I agree. My mom would probably laugh when hearing me being snazzy. I think in Europe it might be different in terms of what is required to get a SO offer than in the US or in Asia but I'm no expert.

I can so relate to the black hole - this is why I'm so happy to learn that you also requested a B35 in VC and swift - it made me again hopeful that one day I might actually see the bag in person.
Tonal stitching, PHW but I don't remember the lining choice as I was undecided about it, I think it was a pinkish tone.
I have once seen a Jypsiere verso in blue nuit with rose pourpre, it looked great. Anemone probably blends in nicely while standing out - so great choice!

I am also in a VC dilemma now.

May SA just offered me a VC Kelly (I have yet to see the actual bag). I asked for a sellier Kelly (which would mean it will be in Epsom) but she didn’t say which leather it is yet.

I already have a black retourne Kelly in the same size, ghw. I don’t mind the same size as long as it’s in a different colour and different stitching. I’m worried that if the offer turns out not to be a sellier, and the VC is too similar to black, then it will be too similar to my black Kelly.

I am a fan of green - I have bags in vert amande and vert tropical and in my mind, I was telepathing my SA for sth like a malachite or another rich green so I guess I kinda got my wish.

would a VC in Togo be too similar to a black?

I had an offer of a Birkin in VC Togo and it really isn't too similar to black.
I requested VC because I didn't want a Black Birkin in a grained leather (only Box or Barenia) but I wanted a very dark rich colour that was dark enough to stand in place of a black bag but clearly wasn't Black.
depending on the light it could look more blue or green but wouldn't be mistaken for black.HTH

Oh lucky you :) Now that I have both black and VC (both clemence for what it's worth) they are really not that similar. I love them both and think they're both stunning. I started this thread so obviously I hesitated, but in hindsight I shouldn't have b/c VC is so gorgeous!
