Hi, yes the braids are gorgeous but I wasn't sure until it was in my hand. I used it a few times, should get it out more. The medusa does make a little dent where it meets leather. Has yours done that? I do feel special when I carry it
It does do that, but the leather is so solid and thick that I guess I am just happy to USE the bag the way I want to. Not baby it like the Chanel's or my other delicate bags. I am also hoping that the leather will soften over time? It's not rigid at all, but I think this is a bag that will be prettier with use. The medusa clasp though, yes, I see what you mean. I am surprised at how easy it is to close though, I didn't expect that. And it fits an iPad! I looked at your pink braided version before I pulled the trigger on the black, I love pink, but decided to go with the version I had seen first, first.

It does also have presence, which is super fun for a bag that people don't seem to be all salivating over (celebs I guess but not here on tpf). Also, it does feel special carrying it you are right. I have gotten quite a few compliments on it while on vacation here, mostly from men! Crazy. Or just the nature of Palm Desert. Haha.

I also love how changing the handle gives a whole different look. Great. Enjoy the bag

Might be worth a little read on symbolism. If you're a fan of Greek mythology, you might find some interest in her persona and story being rife with contradiction, but being a very empowered female. Alas, though, if just the visual turns you off, I supposed it's not the bag for you!

Here's a bit of interesting write up.

Interesting read, thanks for sharing!

Leave it to you Tracey to find a new statement piece! I love the idea of something different that is not a Chanel. Time to give some love elsewhere and expand our horizons!

I am not getting tooooo far away from Chanel (and some Dior) love but you know, a few adopted relatives at the dinner table is kind of fun!

Hi guys!

So I can't keep from going back to this one, and upon doing more research, this bag appears to be quite the "it bag" in Italy as of last year. I found quite a few pics of celebrities here carrying it, 10 or so big names, but haven't found any threads on it. Rumor is that Riccardo is going from Givenchy to Versace, so publicity on this stuff may increase in due time.

I am drawn to this silhouette - tote, top handles, 2 longer straps (a web and leather crossbody). The closure is quite intriguing, with the Medusa head popping down to unfasten the flap, which is also held in place by 2 magnets on either side. You can also tuck in the flap and carry as an open tote.

Would love any feedback or reviews or experiences you guys have with this bag. Comes in mini, medium and large.

Sorry cant be of help here. This is first time I've seen this bag. I actually like it! Thanks for posting.
