Excellent condition aswell. 
If I had girls I would keep it to pass along. Finding authentic Versace this age and in this condition is a diamond in the ruff.
True Versace like this will only go UP UP UP in value.

My wife's just been given this bag by a lovely lady who is a regular visitor to her work - the donor is 'comfortable' so I imagine the bag is indeed genuine, but I'd be interested to know if you think it is or not! And (if it's allowed!) a rough idea of its value and age would be very much appreciated. It's part leather and part hide/fur of some kind. There are no 'medusa' or other logos or any of the 'Greek' chain/twist decorations, and the 'Versace' imprints on the various metal parts are very clear (unlike the photos, sorry!)

Well the purse looks modern. (Made within the last 5 years) Im very concerned about that fur.
It almost looks like cowhide or pig or is it real fur? It does look like fake fur in a few of the shots and if any of those are the case its Fake.:dots: They (VERSACE) would never use cow fur. Versace is by no means cheap, never has been. Normally it is very hard to get your grubs on.
They only make things using the best of the best materials. So anything done in any type of fur or leather is going to be rare or exotic :couch:or of the highest value for that type of leather or fur.

Its really hard to tell through just pictures. Having it in your hands is always nice. i have worked in the fur and leather industry when i was younger. Im trying to think of what has fur, thats short, thats soft and could be real....something exotic...
..They are way better now days at making fake fur and leather real feeling and smelling. Very much so when they make fakes. If the materail is real it should have weight and backing. Also I cann't think of anything even shaved (like rabbit) that would be soft but Versace would not use rabbit. i have to say no authenticity at this point. Still cute and it was a gift.

Way more photos for this one are needed. I want to see the dust bag, the cards, the original tag and reciept of which VERSACE STORE she bought this at. I would like to see the plate close-up, the zipper and inside. Im not comfy with this one at all. These things should be photographed in the auction.
