Vernis wallets for every day use?

I’ve been using my amarante Vernis Cles daily and it’s held up well. I’m convinced the color is more forgiving.

Soooo pretty! But Pomme has my heart. Red is my fave color and that particular shade is gorgeous...combined with the vernis finish? Perfection!

I have two vernis zippy wallets, one in amarante and the other in rose ballerine. The amarante has held up beautifully but the rose ballerine has not. Within a year the rose developed dark stains on both sides, I think likely color transfer or maybe sun exposure.

I think you'll be fine using Pomme every day. I have two Vernis SLGs, both are the clés, one in Pomme and one in Bleu Nuit. Both are several years old and look good as new, and I haven't babied either of them. I would stay away from the lighter colours, personally.

Also had a business card holder in Amarante and that held up wonderfully too. The lady I sold it to said it looked unused!

What colors are they? Are they dark or light?

My cosmetic case was red and my wallet is dark.

I had a lovely vernis Sarah wallet in a light beige colour for about ten years and then I accidentally let her touch my Louis Vuitton Zippy Wallet in Black epi and she was stained. She was in excellent condition, vernis is such a durable and long lasting material. I also have the vernis Zippy Coin Purse in Pomme D'amour. I love her but I have not worn her since the Sarah Wallet incident over a year ago lol!

I would definitely buy vernis again but only in an extremely dark colour.
