Vegetable tanned leather?

This isn't what you want to hear, but: if she wants a Lady Dior or a Chanel Boy, another bag is unlikely to satisfy those desires. She'll probably appreciate the gesture if you buy her a different high quality bag, but it won't be a replacement for the iconic bags she likes

Yes, indeed these can't replace her need for Lady Dior or a Boy, so I've already bought her a Lady Dior.

I want to gift my lady friend a well made small handbag that's made in high quality vegetable tanned leather and would like to keep the branding and brand premium to a minimum if possible.

One example I found was Chester Mox, which appears to be basically what is reported to be Hermes-like quality at discounted prices (but still expensive, because it's handmade). Frank Clegg is another, but their bags do not appear very attractive to the lady friend.

Is there any lady's handbag that you'd recommend that combines good quality vegetable tanned leather without significant branding?

(Hooray! my first thread on this forum)

Clegg's former partner Lotuff has a wider range of handbag styles for his brand; he brought in a design director who has bought in students from Rhode Island School of Design so some of the styles are more modern than Clegg.
