Veau Volupto - new leather?

Hello, I got an offer of Lindy in this leather Veau Valupto. My SA said it is the new leather from Hermes and I couldn't find any info here in any forum. Anyone owns this leather and can you give me the info about this leather please?

My SA said the leather is as soft as swift and look like swift. He told me it's durable but not as much as clemence and not delicate as swift. I'm curious if anyone has this type of leather and more info about the durability and water because when I asked him and he said all leather has the same results when it comes to the water.

Sounds like evercolor's characteristic. If you manage to have a look at it, would love it if you could share how it looks

This is a new leather for this FW17 season. I don't think you'll be able to find much information on it as yet.

It looks similar to evercolor/swift with a bit of a sheen from the IG pics that I've seen.

She looks gorgeous. Love the sheen! & the twilly look so cute with the bag. I wonder if the leather is as smooth as a swift, or has a bit of grain like evercalf.

I don't know the difference between those two honestly. I am still new to Hermes though. [emoji5] I will take a close-up photo tomorrow and maybe you can tell me? [emoji4]

Neither clemence nor swift are problematic in rain, so if this leather is like those two, it should be fine if caught in rain/snow/moisture. Of course, no leather should be left soaking wet, or in damp humid conditions.

Here are the better photo's with the day light. From what I see, I think it looks the same as swift? The leather smells very good though. LOL
