I'm sad to read this thread and see that Veau Fouloné is now made in China and other countries. Longchamp was my first fashion/luxury job when I was an undergrad and I keep the brand close to my heart. At the time, most bags were still made in France, particularely Veau Fouloné - which was the highend Longchamp. 😢
The company has expended extensively over the past 15 years and I understand the need for cutting cost and increasing production capacity... but there is something sad about the loss of tradition.
PS: love reading the Longchamp thread from time to time. It brings back many memories!
