I've worn my beloved 5 motifs bracelet in WMOP everyday for the last 9 months (I take it off when I come home after work). I don't shower with it obvs but I wash my hands quite a lot, though I'm careful not to have water on it. It still looks beautiful BUT I clean it everyday after taking it off with the VCA soft cloth my SA gave me. That's the secret I think because otherwise, it does tarnish a bit (at least mine does). But I wipe it off with the cloth.
I will have to stop by the boutique and ask for a cloth, they never provided one.

Thank you so much for the info. I am so happy to hear from people who have been using their pieces for years, gives such great insight. I'd love to see your GMOP pave bracelet!

I’m not the best photo taker, for nice photos of the GMOP bracelet you can go through the VCA in Action thread and look for @eternallove4bag ’s fabulous photos!

Love the flash on your grey mop! You captured it nicely.
Thank you! Since I’ve showered with the bracelet a couple times I do feel the luster is more matte now compared to before but I noticed with GMOP it tends to do that just by contact with skin as well if worn often.

Kind of wish there was a special oil for pearls to make them lustrous and shiny again if they mattify.

Agree - wish there is some sort of oil or treatment for gmop... From my experience, gmop loses luster much faster than wmop. I do notice frequently wearing the pieces helps restore its shine by a little bit. I might switch out the stones down the road, still thinking about it.

I have the vintage MOP 5-motif bracelet and I find it challenging to get on and off. I was thinking of taking it to a jeweler to figure out how to make this task easier.
Give this tool a try! I found it really helpful in the past. Having had enough practice with the tool, I have been able to get the bracelets on and off really quickly without any assistance now. HTH!!

Hi, anyone notice airgap around the gold setting and the mother of pearl. Its slight can only noticeable when shine toward a light source. Have them on my pendant and 5 motif bracelet but when I call initially last year customer service said it’s normal to have a slight air gap. Today when I wipe my pendant after taking it off, I notice the stone slightly wiggle/move up a bit.

Checked my bracelet to see and only a tinny tiny bit if I do wipe up and down motion.

Am I crazy or what? I wish I push for the issue to be solved during last year

My bracelet passed 1 year mark and my pendant one year mark is coming up on the 15th of this month.

Need to say I’m very careful and take very good care of them both. Only worn my bracelet a handful of time and my pendant just a few time more compared to the bracelet. Ughh! Appreciate any help I can get. I emailed van cleef customer service about and texted the SA I met in my local boutique when inquiry about earrings today about how I would like to call tomorrow afternoon to ask some questions. It’s already 9pm when I texted him just wanted let him know I would like to call and he reply shortly after saying yes. What is amazing what a dedicated worker! The location is a smaller flagship compared to another one 10 - 15 mins walking distance from each and I’m so grateful as the bigger one is much much harder to get in

Any insights please help! I love my piece so much still but it hurts to think the money I spent on them and having to worry about the setting being secure or not. I don’t want to lose a stone and replace it. Make no sense that they need any type of service or replacement of stone after a year and only worn during occasions
