VCA Madison Avenue - NYC

Van Cleef & Arpels is coming to Madison Avenue. The high jewelry brand, owned by luxury giant Richemont, is expected to open this fall at 690 Madison Avenue, which is the northwest corner of 62nd Street, a site previously occupied by an Hermès men's store.

I saw the building advertisement yesterday as I was walking to Hermes, and I am wondering if this had anything to do with Bergdorf's and possible sale to Hudson Bay?

The old H men’s space is smaller than the 5th Ave VCA, no?

Could it be just a smaller additional location?? - the flagship location on 5th is so historical - can’t imagine they could move from there ?

@DeryaHm yes - but its a nice building. I guess its a smart move as I believe H/VCA share the same customers capturing foot traffic.

@TankerToad yes I guess so. Plus a good back up plan in case BG the building is sold, or rent is raised if the asset is sold.
