Vca bracelet in the shower

Hello, I’m thinking of purchasing my first vca bracelet I usually wear mostly Cartier pieces daily and never take it off which I’m hoping to do the same with the new vca. I want to buy the MOP but I read that you can’t shower with it so my question it has any of you ladies wear it daily and even in the shower? Dose it hold up? If I can’t wear it in the shower then I’m thinking maybe the 5 rose gold one. Here is my stack for reference (I would wear it on my right arm with the little diamond Cartier). Thank you!!!

You'll need to get the rose gold bracelet (not guilloche) if you plan to wear it in the shower. I've worn my rose gold vintage pendant every day, including in the shower, for 4 years and it looks as new as the day I bought it.

I don’t think you will find many ladies on the forum who wear their MOP in the shower as it’s and expensive piece and wouldn’t want it ruined. There are minerals in water that just don’t work well with MOP. I would get the solid gold if you want something with more durability

MOP will shrink with time if you shower with it. Solid gold or pave should be fine.

I have been wearing my carnelian 5 motif all the time, MOP is more fragile than carnelian though. Also oynx should be fine.

Do you wear your carnelian in the shower? How long have you had yours? If oynx is ok in the shower I think I might get that one as I wanted to add some colour to my wrist vs just rose gold. Thank you!

Yes I do haha, I've had it for about 2 weeks plus? Oynx is a hardy stone but I can't personally vouch for it as I haven't bought it yet haha

My next piece is a MOP so it's going to be a pendant and I won't be wearing it 24/7. It's honestly just hard for me to keep putting on and removing bracelets...

I agree I don’t like taking on and off jewelry I find it annoying lol only special occasions I would do that and now with covid there isn’t any haha so I want one I can leave on 24/7 I think I’ll go with the oynx.

Me too! But I think yellow gold is the safest to wear in the shower. For me because my stack is mainly rose gold I’m going to take the risk with oynx to add a pop of colour and wear it 24/7

I so love the Onyx. A lot or posts about this stone being safe in the shower. I’ll check with the SA (over the phone as all shops are still closed here in the UK). I would definitely take it off in a pool or anywhere with chlorinated water.

Other part was that I already stack 3 loves on one wrist and similar to OP, the onyx added more color rather than going with the all gold.

I agree it adds colour rather than just gold metal I’m excited to get mine
