It's best you just let your SA know about your desire for the SO and see what he/she can do for you. Even if someone gets approved at their home boutique doesn't mean you'll also get offered/approved, the SM will look into your purchase history and loyalty to a particular boutique to make the final call. I've been told by my SA that VCA HQ really trying to limit on SO's because of backlog.
The sweet hammered isn’t as nearly as popular as VA hammered pieces so you may not have to wait that long. I did full deposit on my sweet 6 motif & it arrived in 8 weeks.
waitlist is just means they don't currently have it in stock and have to order it from HQ. as long as they take your deposit, you'll get it once the boutique receive it. the problem is when the boutique can't even order it and the waitlist is closed, which they do it on and off quite often on the VA hammered pieces.
oh no i'm sorry. i thought you meant you placed a deposit already. sounds like the waitlist temporarily closed, just ask your SA to update you when it becomes available to order again. it's frustrating trying to order VCA pieces sometimes. maybe try bookmarking the product page on VCA's US website too, you'll never know if this necklace would miraculously popped up on the website, that's where i got my 16 motif.
My SA said orders for the 16 sweet motif in RG have been closed since August 2023. You cannot add yourself to waitlist or do any deposit. Several SAs have told me they do not receive any free stock at all for this piece the past few years. Many people have been waiting for the list to open back up, but doesnt seem likely since the the Paris workshop has such a long queue of orders to do, even to the point of S.O. being closed.
I ordered the yellow gold sweet 16 in February, 2024, still waiting on it.
