Brown! When the style goes out if fashion you can still wear signature MK with a nice muted, sophisticated look.

No, it hasn't. It's a little softer than when it was new, but it has retained its structure. The PVC is a great material; not as slouchy as the regular leather and not as stiff as the saffiano. Whatever you decide on, I hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine!

Thank you!! I agree, that's one of the biggest reasons I love it! The regular leather is great but gets so smooshy and flat.

I was SO excited to see this post: I'm trying to make the exact same decision! Saw both bags in the MK Boutique in San Francisco this week. I like the brown for its versatility, but the vanilla is so sharp with the tan leather trim.

I love hearing that the PVC isn't as slouchy as the leather version... I really wanted a bag with some stiffness to it. So thank you for that info.

But now I'm worried about the vanilla getting stained over time. I've been reading as much as I can on the Purse Forum about PVC bags getting dirty (or not) and being difficult to clean (or not) and now I am TOTALLY confused! I just assumed I'd use the Michael Kors protective spray on the bag before it even left the house, and then spray it again every couple of months, and that would be the end of the story as long as I didn't brush up against a freshly-painted fence of something. Am I missing something?

I would REALLY appreciate any advice all you "bag experts" can give me on how to protect this bag, since I really think I'm going for the vanilla. I'm brand new to The Purse Forum, and I'm already learning so much!
