Does anyone know why Nick and Jessica really broke up??? Was it ever publicized? I do remember seeing a THS one late night and he was crying in it about the end of the relationship.... searched and searched but never found a repeat. I guess Jessica must have been at fault in the divorce

Vanessa was born in Pampanga, Philippines. Her father is an American of Italian and Irish descent. Her mother is Filipino.

I heard an interview with Nick before stating that they had been having some trouble when she was filming "Dukes of hazzard" movie and pretty much as soon as they were wrapped and he came to pick her up then she got in the car and finished with him. Just like that. It came out afterwards that she had been involved in a fling with one of her co-stars from the movie and then shortly after another with Adam levine, girl was busy enjoying her new banging body i guess (as it was then)
He actually cried in the interview talking of his love for his brothers child and how he had hoped to become a father when marrying Jessica but she was so embroiled in her career that she showed no interest...
Her version was that "Simpson told Jane magazine in October 2006 that she knew her marriage to Lachey was over when he refused to join her on a charity trip to Africa, even though it was on their third wedding anniversary."
So i guess it is up to you who you believe...
By the by - Vanessa has some great genes going on and is a naturally very beautiful woman i believe, Nick got lucky to snag her
