Personal or not I just think that taking naked photos of yourself is just weird and dangerous. Plus, what's the point? Your putting yourself at risk doing it.

This topic bothers me personally because I have girlfriends who do it and I just find it STUPID!!!! Especially when the photos leaked. HELLO?! Did you just want to keep it for yourself to look at? If so, why not just look in the mirror?

Sorry if this offends anyone but it's just my opinion.

I don't disagree. It's not something I'd do myself, and I get where you're coming from but what I'm trying to say is I don't think she should be persecuted for what we think is a stupid decision.

I don't think she was being persecuted. Dane Cook is a comedian and that's what comedians do at any award show. Just because this was a "teen" show doesn't mean he can't be a comedian. I think he kept it PG-13 anyway. If you want to do "adult" things as a teen, chances are you're going to have consequences. Believe me, some teens nowadays are doing stuff that I have never done in my thirty something years. I like Vanessa Hudgens and I think she's a beautiful girl. I think it's just that people see her sweetness and don't want to look beyond that. I know that if it were Paris Hilton, people would definately have different opinions than they do for Vanessa. This is just my opinion anyway.

i cant speak for everyone but i know i feel bad for her b/c those nude pictures were allegedly taken when she was a MINOR. Children make mistakes, and just b/c they are in the public light, they are still children, IMO.

I remember when Paris' sex tape "leaked" and she was made fun off at an awards show...I felt just as bad for her and I have never liked Paris Hilton.

You haven't offended me :smile1: Different strokes for different folks.

glad there's one teenage girl on the planet who thinks this way. :smile1:

i find it disturbing that it's "normal" to take naked photos of yourself. has this always been normal and we just now hear about because of the digital age? i can't imagine doing something like this when i was in my teens. granted, that was years ago, but simple common sense says if there's a chance of naked photos falling into the wrong hands, don't do it! if you're famous or looking to be famous, you should know this even more than us commoners.

I felt bad that she was embarrassed but she she kinda should be. I think they claimed she was a minor to get them pulled, I believe there is some debate about that. I mean once ok maybe I'll over look as a teenage mistake but twice. play like and adult, pay like an adult, imho. Maybe it will teach her and others who think that this is normal. You can't do things like that and expect that no one will call you out, that's real life.

Comedian or not, it was still in bad taste IMO, and not funny. He could have chosen something more light hearted that would not have been so embarrassing. When the Paris Hilton sex tape leaked, I felt bad for her even though I don't like her. Its embarrassing to have something like that was done in private go public.

I guess I'll just agree to disagree.

I feel differently that you but I also agree with what you are saying. The difference to me is that celebs these days have no privacy. period. each intimate moment they have probably will be exposed somewhere down the line. I would feel worse for her if this had happened to her the first time but clearly she did not learn her lesson. Yes it was mean but she is someone young girls look up to. I know it's not right to label her as a role model but the truth is she is to a lot of girls. We don't live in a prefect world where parents are stepping in and being great role models. Kids look up to their favorite celebs. The whole thing is unfortunate but maybe this will help teach everyone a lesson. If you don't want a pic seen don't take it.

I read that these pictures were apart of the first set, but this set of pics is just being released, so I don't think these pics are new, which could be the reason she has not released a public statement.

I thank my lucky stars that I am not a celeb. I would never want the "responsibility" of being a role model.

i know. they shouldn't be, imo. that's what parents are for. it's kinda sad. hope it all blows over soon. I think the only reason they were questioned is becuase she has changes to her eyebrows etc from the first set. either way it's a yucky situation.

I wasn't necessarily referring to the Dane Cook incident specifically when I said she was being persecuted, I just mean in general.

I totally agree with you about having consequences, and I'm trying to condone her actions because in reality I could care less what someone does in their private time. I just think that she got a lot of grief about it the first time, and it's not really necessary to bring it up again.
