I'm kinda shocked. I thought she would be one of those Disney stars to do Disney/teen/kid movies as long as they could to hold on to what fanbase they do have. Resulting in them not having a very long career. So I'm excited to see her changing it up. This may be the first movie I actually go see with her in it. I love action movies even though this sounds like it won't be that good. A 1950's brothel action movie?

Vanessa Hudgens Gets Hookered Up With New Movie Role


Vanessa Hudgens is about to shed her squeaky-clean High School Musical image, big-time—and that's not all she'll be shedding!

The 20-year-old actress reveals to Metro that, in her upcoming film Sucker Punch, she'll be playing a prostitute—and to hear her tell it, there's going to be some skin involved.

"I'm playing a character named Blondie and it's set in a brothel in the 1950s, so there's not a whole lot of clothes," Hudgens says.

And that's not the only kind of action to expect from the flick, due to hit theaters in 2011.

"It'll be gun training, stunts, fighting and all that craziness. I can't wait. I'm so excited. I've wanted to do an action film for a while," Hudgens gushes. "I think this is my time to really step it up and get to grow up. It will be somewhat different with the content and a few more foul words but that's the biggest difference."

Of course, this won't be the first time that Hudgens has appeared in the buff on camera. At least this time she'll be getting paid for it.

I cant wait to see her in the movie. I think its a good move that she is trying to shed off her Disney image and get more serious roles.
