I don't love bags in this design, because I find them impractical when I'm out. If I'm wearing it crossbody, the top handle gets in the way when I try to open the flap. And, if I'm holding it in the crook of my arm, when I open the bag, the entire bag kind of flops forward, since now I'm only holding the flap (via the top handle).

I love the look of them, but they just don't work for me.
I've been considering this bag. Your comment makes me think. Thanks for that.

@viba424 I love the look of the oyster, but if the gold fills a need in your lineup, I'd recommend going in that direction. I tend to eschew the lighter colors anyway, just because they're so much more prone to color transfer and other marks.

I love both… I LOVE the iside bag. I don’t think you could go wrong with either but I am quite intrigued by the oyster because of the dimensional coloring (with a lighter tone in the recessed part of the textured leather and a darker tone on the higher parts, if that makes sense). I’m thinking that dimensional coloring might actually help the bag be more resistant to the noticeable color transfer, which often plagues lighter colored bags. i would love it if someone with an oyster bag could weigh in with their experience.

I’m curious which you picked. They both really are quite fabulous.
