Yes, the bag is large and very roomy. I don't have a Chanel jumbo but I looked it up and it seems these two bags are pretty much the same size. I'm not tall either and this bag does look large on me but not disturbingly so, in my opinion.
And I personally have so many small bags already, so I specifically chose not to buy another small bag. There is a medium size version of the roman stud bag too, if the size concerns you.

! It looks like it will hold its structure better than the Chanel 19. I can’t wait to receive mine! Thank you for the mod shot!I just received the top handle bag in pink. It is absolutely gorgeous. The leather is divine. The studs on the strap are to die for. It does come with a chain strap, I am not a fan of chains so I doubt I will use it much. It has two compartments and the twist lock in front is amazing. I love, love, love it.
I'm dying to see review comparisons between this bag and the Chanel 19. I don't own a Chanel 19 nor have I been able to hold one in person. I bought the Valentino large roman stud bag and am in love with it. The leather is so soft that when it was shipped to me there were already dimples in the leather. I'm wondering if the Chanel 19 is the same.
i bought a 19 and returned it and bought this one. Several reasons why:
the studs lend to flare.
I don’t like to flashy CC Logo and the Roman is more understated
Roman is lighter
More versatile. The 19 doesn’t have removable handles or straps. The Roman can be carried as a clutch, handle bag or shoulder and the top handle and shoulder chain are both removable.
the quality is JUST AS GOOD if not better.
The price is definitely better.

Does the divider at the bottom of your bag also bulge? I wonder if that will bother me
Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to look at the bag in the shop to check if this is normal.
