What does everyone think of the Valentino Roman spike bag?

I saw this bag in a Neiman Marcus catalogue in November and I have been OBSESSED. I saw it IRL at NM yesterday and OMG, I love it.
I try not to buy multiples of the same bag (except Chanel classic flap) but this one I cannot stop thinking about and feel like I need it in black, the poudre/beige rose color and the magenta. I don’t see a lot of love for this bag online.

Thoughts?

This bag does have a pretty noticeable Chanel vibe, but not in a bad way. I think it's beautiful.

I'm a fan of multiples. I'm a believer of "if it works for your lifestyle, and you love it, don't worry about anything else." As long as you get joy from the bag...

I have 2 of the original spike, but am not loving this style. Then again, I've changed my mind before when I've seen smth in person vs online.

Very nice bag. Lucky me (bank account) that I can’t see it in person anywhere in my town and traveling somewhere with luxury goodies will be way in the future
but to answer your question: I would eventually buy multiples of a style, if I knew it suits me, so if you like it really that much, why not?

I love this bag! The giant Rockstuds make this bag look so chic. I just saw the woven canvas version on Instagram yesterday and was blown away. The hardware on that one is textured with a soft of guilloche finish, too.

When I saw this bag initially in pictures, I was not a fan. Recently, I saw a girl unbox it on her YouTube channel and I loved it. That light pink color is gorgeous!

I loved the Roman stud bag until I went in-store to try it on. I think if you have the Chanel 19 or Jumbo and you're comfortable with the chain, it's a gorgeous bag. I recently saw Chrissy Teigan with the new roman stud top handle bag and THAT is the bag I want. I love the style of the roman stud bag, but the chain on a heavier bag doesn't work for me. I like the option of the top handle, leather stud strap, and gold chain for the top handle bag.

I have the light pink (beige) and black, and then got the pumps in both pink and ivory, and TRULY love them all!! The black on black coming for fall will be to die for!

I could not wait and bought the large roman stud bag in rosa cannelle. It is such a gorgeous bag, I'm in love! It is big enough to fit all my essentials (wallet, two mobile phones, keys, sunglasses, make up) plus my Bang & Olufsen headphones, very roomy. The bag doesn't feel that heavy to me, but it is so beautifully made. I can wear it with all my summery dresses.
