I have tabac and LOVE it. It's my favorite one and a true neutral. It doesn't show wear more than my black or vert anis. But I can't wear Gold because, even if I like the color, it looks horrible on me. And I must say my Tabac I'd GHW, I have no idea how it would look with PHW. If gold looks god on you it' a great choice!!

I think it is better for you to go and try it on and decide which shade is better for your skin tone. Since you mentioned the stitching, are you worried about the white stitching that the gold birkin comes with?

I agree with Lyanna to go and try it on. You may find tabac to be more flattering against your skin. It is with my skin tone.

I vote for Tabac. A bit partial, I admit, as I have a 30cm Birkin in this color and it is beautiful. So neutral but such a rich color. It really goes with just about everything.
